A decision has been reached and it appears that the two players in question were found to have participated in a fraudulent act and have been disqualified from their team. This will leave the Ray101bassman team with only eight players and Kings Poker with only nine.

Here is the official response from Poker Host in case you didn't see it.

Dear Players:

In response to the events on the WSOP League Pass # 3 played last night; and after reviewing the situation in depth from all possible points of view necessary, we have made the decision of disqualifying 2 players from their respective Teams.

As it is stated on our terms and condition for this promotion, section 4: “Any player found to be involved in fraudulent activity will forfeit any prizes and be banned from further participation in the promotion”.

We would like to remind all team coordinators as well as every player that all hands are looked by our security team, please do not put your points and your team on the line.

We hope the competition keeps running as it has and hope to see all the lucky winners in Las Vegas.

We would like to inform you that our WSOP League Pass #4 tournament will be reschedule due to Easter Sunday

Best Regards,
Mark Hetz
Affiliate and Marketing Manager

The race has tightened up with only 500 points separating first place and tenth place. with only five games to go, no team has it in the bag just yet.

There will be no game this Sunday, 4/12/08 in observance of the Easter Holiday. That game has been rescheduled to April 29, 2009. Play will resume This coming Wednesday! Good luck to all the teams.

Also I would like to say that the Poker Host team did an excellent job in handling this and was very thorough in doing so. Kudos to Mark and his staff.

April 9, 2009. As of 11:53AM EST, The management at Poker Host is looking at the whole tourney from last night and is assessing whether any fraudulent activity took place. It also my understanding that they are going back and looking at the two previous games to see if any such activity took place. The TOC for the WSOP League Pass states that no fraudulent activity is allowed and the normal rules of the room apply. Although that in and of itself is a little vague, especially for a team oriented event. The regular rules in the TOC that you must agree to upon sign up state ".....at Poker Host's sole determination, you are found to have cheated or attempted to defraud the Poker Host service or Poker Host Curacao n.v. in any way including but not limited to game manipulation, chip dumping, transfers or payment fraud, or if you make untrue and/or malicious comments with regard to the company's operation in any media or forum..."

It also says the penalty for such action is as follows, "...the company reserves the right to publicize your actions as well as to circulate this information to other online gaming sites, banks, credit card companies, and appropriate agencies. Further, the company may close any accounts, and forfeit account balances, that you have at Poker Host or at any other Poker Host related website and/or business..."

Poker Host at this time is not sure of how it will be handled at this point as nothing has been decided. They are still investigating the alleged hand and others from last night. They are meeting and discussing it as this is written and I will report their findings as they are released. Stay tuned..............

Sorry Danny ... 2am starts getting pretty late and I wonder how much there is left to be discussed. You have my Skype (Shaft201 if not), so if I'm still awake I'm happy to respond a little, but tbh I think I've said everything that I have to say on this thread ;)
